About

I spent thirteen years designing and delivering original learning programmes across philosophy, ethics, and the humanities — for audiences that included surgeons, academics, and PhD researchers who expected genuine intellectual rigour. That experience gave me something most learning designers don't have: a deep, practical understanding of how people actually think, reason, and change — and how to design learning that works with those processes rather than against them.I now bring that methodology to corporate L&D, working with organisations in financial services, leadership development, and purpose-led sectors where the learning challenges are genuinely complex — and where shallow design produces nothing of value. My approach starts with the real performance problem, not the presenting brief. I design from the behaviour change goal backwards, defining what success looks like at 90 days rather than 90 minutes after the session ends, and building evaluation in from the outset.I hold a First Class Honours degree in English and Creative Writing and a PGCE in Lifelong Learning.Through Praxis Learning Studio, I work remotely with clients in the UK, Singapore, South East Asia, and Australia.
